Who writes this junk?

Football is a game that is played with your legs. Football is not a sport where a bunch of men are paid mega bucks in America to wear full body armor and charge at the opposite team. They don't even kick the ball much. That's not footie.

Glad that's sorted out. Now, apparently everyone who is anyone can be a football writer. You no longer need to be a player, former player, coach or someone who is directly or indirectly involved in the game to write about the game. Which of course is a total insult to these people as they know the game better than the average fan.

Turns out that the average fan can make a living out of writing about football. With little knowledge of the game, one has to wonder who is the idiot who let them bore us with their junk. Seriously, all they do is bash the teams, bash the players without having an understanding of the game. I've been reading The Star since I got back from holiday and this guy writes a weekly football column. And all he does he unfairly trash the players. Ok, I expected this guy to at least be a player or a coach but this guy turns out to be a fat guy posing for the camera. My P.E. teacher can do a better job than you.

And now to espnstar.com, the site rates the players after every match and I have to say any literate person can do a better job than the current staff when it comes to rating players. If a team wins, lets just say by a comfortable margin, the players on the winning side would get a rating between 6.5-8.5... they rarely get a 9 or a 10. You would think, okay the guy has his arguments but when you watch the match and see how well/poorly they really performed you'd question the man's intelligence. Inaccurate explanations, biased ratings and not to mention posts that sound like blog-posts. Such unprofessionalism such not be practiced by the writers of a famous website that is responsible for delivering accurate and unbiased articles, reviews and news.

I'm not breaking any rules here so this is it.

I wonder if anyone actually reads this stuff?
